Discussion for subtitles temporary disabled

I had to disabled discussion for subtitles, it takes too long to get comments, it is caused by “wrong” tables. I store too much information into “abstract” table, it should be used only as log table, but it is used for too much information and get some data takes ages…it has now 6.478.595 rows…So I have to re-code comments and for time beeing comments are disabled – new comments are stored in db, but they are not showing on site.
New comments should be better (stored in tree structure), but I am not sure when I will implement them

Have you thought about deleting older comments? Not keeping more than five or ten of them for each?
this is not the issue. I will import old comments to new table and so on. I hope I will start code that tomorrow or so…we will see
